Position Summary
General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Physical Therapist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams. This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning. The therapist participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. The therapist is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental effectiveness.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Ohio.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
