The Corewell Health Family Medicine Residency Clinic at Grosse Pointe is a teaching clinic where resident physicians practice alongside supervising physicians to improve healthcare through education and research.
This partnership enables our physicians to provide quality care to all our patients. We have seen significant growth and advancement with planned additional growth and advancement throughout the residency practice.
The RN Supervisor will work closely with the Practice Manager, supervising physician, resident physicians, and clinical & clerical teams. As an RN, you play an integral role in the clinic, serving patients from diverse backgrounds with unique and complex care needs.

Scope of WorkThe Outpatient Nurse Supervisor coordinates and organizes clinical personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization, in a cost-effective manner, and in conjunction with the operations manager where applicable.
Responsibilities include clinical operations, orienting, and training clinical staff, ensuring competency for excellence in clinical practice. Develops process improvement initiatives based on best practice and participates in the development of policies and procedures.
Supports quality patient care to meet regulatory guidelines and participates in Patient and Family Centered Care while also aiding individuals in a manner that considers their special or age-related needs.

QualificationsRequirements include a Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), 1 year of relevant experience, clinical or ambulatory, and minimum 1-2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience. Additionally, a MI Registered Nurse (RN) and AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
