Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Technician to join our team at Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in Seattle, Washington. As an Environmental Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with environmental construction and consulting projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze environmental samples, including soil, water, and air, to determine compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, including technical specifications, construction drawings, and sampling plans.
  • Provide quality assurance monitoring on construction and environmental projects, ensuring that all activities meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules, and progress reports.
  • Communicate with clients and project personnel to ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of final reports, work plans, and health and safety documents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience in environmental construction and consulting, or related field.
  • Experience with environmental sampling, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation.
