Job Description

As a Property Evaluation Specialist at Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual, you will play a crucial role in inspecting properties to assess their condition and exposure. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Physical Inspections: Conduct thorough physical inspections of properties to evaluate their condition and identify potential risks.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess the risk associated with each property, taking into account factors such as damage, exposure, and other relevant considerations.
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel is required, including overnight stays, to conduct inspections and complete assignments.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and insights on property evaluations.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: Obtain and maintain FAA Drone Pilot's License.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
