Family Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Specialist to join our team at Astor Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary collaborative team, you will play a vital role in helping to prevent out-of-home placement of children into the foster care system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize evidence-based practices to provide high-quality services to families in need.
- Collaborate with a diverse population of at-risk families to develop and implement individualized plans to promote family stability and well-being.
- Provide crisis intervention and home-based services to support families in crisis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources to ensure access to necessary services and support.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of program goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Experience in case management and crisis intervention.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations.
- Ability to work with a diverse population and adapt to changing circumstances.
