  • Collect, document, and report patient data and observations.
  • Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.
  • Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests.
  • Educate patients and family members.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
  • Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of patient care experience.

Physical Requirements:

Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination. Involves extensive standing and walking. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
