Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Manager, Operating Room at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the OR, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Three years of progressive nursing experience, with a minimum of two years in a leadership role.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
