About the Role

Growing Real Estate Group in Manhattan presents an exciting opportunity to lead a rapidly expanding sales department. As the Sales Leadership Executive (Student Housing), you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing a team, and overseeing leasing activities.

This key role involves:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Managing a sales and leasing team to ensure they meet their individual and collective targets.
  • Overseeing all leasing activities, including direct leasing efforts, leasing administration, and lease renewals.
  • Utilizing StarRez to manage all aspects of student housing, including room assignments, billing, and reporting.
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to promote our student housing options.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and key issues.
  • Preparing and presenting sales reports to the executive team, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Training and mentoring sales and leasing staff, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments, including property management and customer service, to ensure a seamless experience for our students.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on leasing and student housing.
  • Proven experience using StarRez or a similar property management software.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal team members and external partners.
  • A deep understanding of the student housing market and the unique needs of student tenants.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
