We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Credit Analyst to join our team at SUMITOMO MITSUI TRUST BANK, LIMITED.

The Americas DivisionThe Americas Division was established in the Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited, New York Branch to perform corporate functions and supervise U.S. entities. The Specialty Finance Department is responsible for originating, booking and monitoring credit facilities for both bilateral and syndicated loan transactions.
Your RoleYou will be responsible for credit evaluation and deal maintenance within the Project Finance area. This role is ideal for AVP level candidates who have excellent knowledge of US renewable market including experience with tax equity structures.
Responsibilities- Review potential assets in assigned products/industries and prepare credit applications and make investment recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable investment guidelines and directives from Head Office and Branch Management.
- Monitor assigned assets/products/industries to maintain credit quality through asset/product/industry appropriate measures.
- Prepare all applications and reports and make recommendations on all amendments, refinancings and other ongoing activities.
- Responsible for all Head Office and Branch monitoring and reporting requirements.
- MBA degree in relevant field or its equivalent with at least 5 years of related experience.
- Excellent knowledge of US renewable market including experience with tax equity structures.
- Capable of analyzing complex financial models and run internal sensitivity analysis.
- Advanced in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access).
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The specific salary offered to an employment applicant is based on individual qualifications, experiences, job responsibilities, and analysis of current compensation paid for similar roles in the local geographic area.
