About the Role

At Balfour Beatty Communities, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential communities. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and meet company standards
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments, including customer service and leasing, to ensure that all maintenance requests are addressed in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college courses or technical school training preferred
  • Minimum of three years of property management experience, with a focus on maintenance and repairs
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
