Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team at TPI Staffing, Inc. As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for cutting and blasting various materials in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Cutting: Utilize measuring tapes to accurately mark pieces for cutting and sort them in a blasting basket. Operate a bevel machine to bevel pipe ends as required and mark pipe to corresponding job numbers after cutting.
  • Blasting: Push/pull blasting baskets on wheels in and out of the booth several times a day, while wearing a blast suit and supplied air helmet system. Lift up to 50lbs while in the blast booth to maneuver parts for blasting on all sides.
  • General: Prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and maintain marginal paperwork. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to learn and follow established processes.
  • Available to work overtime when needed.
  • Team-minded and self-motivating.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and bending required.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds at a time.
