Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our Community Health group. The ideal candidate will have a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from a dental school accepted by the American Dental Association and a valid license to practice dentistry in Illinois. At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct clinical dentistry in the dental office with support personnel.
Provide general dental services to patients, emphasizing care for low-income and poor individuals.
Collaborate with the Dental Program Coordinator on dental office policy and procedures.
Oversee the quality and productivity of dental office support personnel.
Direct operational policies of the dental office.
Participate in the School Sealant program and receive training on HIPAA regulations.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from a dental school accepted by the American Dental Association.
Valid license to practice dentistry in Illinois.
At least one year of clinical experience.
Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with employees and exercise professional judgment in patient care.
Willingness to be cross-trained to provide other integrated services as needed.
Ability to read, review, and agree to work and support the mission statement of the MCPHD.
Satisfactory completion of required trainings for job responsibilities.
Reporting of suspected child abuse/neglect to DCFS.
