As a Pharmacy Technician at Walmart, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists in the prescription fulfillment process, including processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory and restock shelves as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to member inquiries
- Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment and other tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy
- Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) within 9 months of job entry
