About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Strategist to join our team in Lexington, NE. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for driving our HR strategy forward over the next 1-2 years, with a focus on maximizing the effectiveness of our HR initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  1. To provide expert input and implement HR strategies that align with our organizational vision, mission, and goals.
  2. To develop and implement plans and programs designed to optimize HR performance, improve employee engagement, and enhance overall business outcomes.
  3. To influence team members to adopt key safety and HR principles, promoting a positive and productive work culture.
  4. To identify and mitigate risk-generating patterns related to EEO and AA using available resources, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  5. To champion Employee Inclusion and Diversity (EID) initiatives, promoting a culture of inclusion and respect.
  6. To build effective team member networks that facilitate feedback and contribute to corrective actions when adverse business conditions exist.
  7. To analyze patterns of behavior that may lead to team member dissatisfaction and develop strategies to eliminate them.
  8. To provide coaching and support to leadership development, focusing on decision-making skills to drive performance productivity.
  9. To partner closely with the Center of Excellence (COE) and People Operations to design and deliver best-in-class onboarding and orientation experiences for new team members.
  10. To collaborate with leaders to determine workforce shaping strategies, focusing on the long-term future, and partner with COEs and People Operations for planning and execution.
  11. To manage grievances and work closely with Labor Relations COE to identify and communicate potential contract/CBAs violations.
  12. To lead talent evaluation and development, driving business outcomes through strategic people management practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered in lieu of higher education.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in HR or a related field.
  • Advanced computer skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required, with the ability to adapt communication style for all levels within the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with knowledge of HR strategy execution and implementation at various organizational levels.
