Job Summary:

The City of Portland is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Public Health Division. As a Clinical Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, project position that requires a strong commitment to public health and a passion for working with vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct patient care and services in a variety of settings, including the Portland Community Free Clinic and other community-based programs.
* Collaborate with community healthcare and social service resources to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
* Develop and implement education programs for staff and community partners on best public health practices, reporting, and outreach.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.

Requirements:

* A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent experience.
* One year of experience in a public health or clinical setting, preferably with vulnerable populations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
