We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Wilmington, DE. The SLP will be responsible for assessing and treating students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring they have the support they need to succeed in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students based on their specific needs.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to ensure students receive well-rounded support.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights on student progress and goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy approaches.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Delaware state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
