About the RoleAs a Medical Assistant at One Medical, you'll provide exceptional patient experiences, helping them navigate their care journey with ease. You'll be an ambassador for our patients, mastering human connection and driving service excellence. Your role will involve venipuncture, dispensary responsibilities, and other clinical support services.
You'll remove barriers to care, ensuring a truly exceptional in-office experience for our patients. This includes support for the office, with a focus on active daily management, scheduling, inventory, and facilities support. You'll be the steward of the space, maintaining the look and feel of both patient and employee-facing areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide best-in-class venipuncture services for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Perform and assist with extended scope duties, including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs.
- Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization.
- Manage dispensary responsibilities, including verifying counts, maintaining inventory, placing orders, receiving and stocking, filling, packaging, and labeling prescriptions for patient pickup.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
- Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams (additional experience with remote teams a plus).

This is a full-time role (40 hrs/week) with 8-hour shifts generally taking place Monday-Friday between 7:30am-6:30pm based at our Dartmouth office in Hanover, NH.
