We are partnering with a leading Community Healthcare organization to find an experienced Medical Director for their Behavioral Health Department.
Job Overview:
- The ideal candidate will oversee the department, coordinating Outpatient Psychiatric care and direct oversight of medication management providers.
- Must have extensive knowledge of agency and clinical policies, working closely with Leadership to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the Behavioral Health Department, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Oversight of medication management providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
- Foster collaboration among team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Work closely with Leadership to drive departmental growth, improvement, and innovation.
Requirements:
- BE/BC, CT Licensed Adult and Pediatric Physicians preferred.
- Extensive experience in leadership roles, preferably in Behavioral Health settings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year.
