As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our team, working under the direction of a Radiologist to perform a variety of technical procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing Ultrasound procedures with precision and attention to detail
  • Positioning patients for exams with respect to their comfort and optimal exam quality
  • Evaluating image quality on Ultrasound Units to determine if adjustments are necessary
  • Furnishing necessary patient information to the Radiologist
  • Assisting in the training of Radiology students
  • Practicing sterile techniques and Universal Precautions

Requirements:

  • Technologist registered (ARDMS)
  • BLS certification
  • One year clinical experience
  • Additional registry in vascular ultrasound desired

As a PRN employee, you'll provide a crucial role within the organization, giving departments more flexibility to operate and ensuring that Delta Health provides superior services to our patients.

PRN minimum requirement:

  • 2 shifts per month
  • 1 holiday per year
