HVAC Sales Account Manager
Job Summary:The Account Manager for Institutional Sales is responsible for increasing the share of wallet on assigned accounts along with business development of new accounts. This role is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate sales related to HVAC replacement and retrofit equipment, system upgrade products, aftermarket parts, supplies, and accessories in an assigned account list.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with commercial, institutional, educational, and hospitality maintenance purchasing departments and service contractors.
- Share the value proposition and develop solutions that lead to sales growth and long-term customer year-over-year repeat business.
- Work closely with the national account team and GPO's to implement contracts and national group purchasing agreements.
- Analyze the territory and develop, execute, and monitor sales programs.
- Minimum 4-year Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of outside sales experience.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Must maintain a positive attitude and have strong customer service skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must possess the ability to problem-solve and multi-task.
