Job Title:

HVAC Sales Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Account Manager for Institutional Sales is responsible for increasing the share of wallet on assigned accounts along with business development of new accounts. This role is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales related to HVAC replacement and retrofit equipment, system upgrade products, aftermarket parts, supplies, and accessories in an assigned account list.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with commercial, institutional, educational, and hospitality maintenance purchasing departments and service contractors.
  • Share the value proposition and develop solutions that lead to sales growth and long-term customer year-over-year repeat business.
  • Work closely with the national account team and GPO's to implement contracts and national group purchasing agreements.
  • Analyze the territory and develop, execute, and monitor sales programs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 years of outside sales experience.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and have strong customer service skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must possess the ability to problem-solve and multi-task.
