Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Jon-Don, Inc. in Rincon, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment and supplies to customer locations in a timely and courteous manner.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport equipment and supplies to customer locations
  • Determine each customer's ability to use the equipment in a safe manner
  • Demonstrate use of rental equipment to customers
  • Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections
  • Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, shop environment, and rules of the road
  • Maintain the service and appearance of the truck and shop area
  • Follow delivery/pickup instructions from Dispatcher
  • Clean and prep rental and demo equipment. Maintain records of equipment coming in and out of the shop
  • Prepare supply orders as needed, send in parts orders received
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a driving record in good standing
  • Candidates must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Must hold a valid Driver's License and be able to obtain a Class C CDL
