Carpenter - Skilled Trades Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter - Skilled Tradesman to join our team at BluSky. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including general carpentry, demolition, tile work, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general carpentry tasks, including residential and commercial work
- Demolish and remove existing structures
- Install tile and other flooring materials
- Hang cabinets and install trim
- Perform door hanging and taping
- Paint and finish surfaces
- Perform light electrical and plumbing work
- Rough frame homes and set trusses
- Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship, and polite communication
- Comply with safety, quality, and procedural standards
- Direct experience working as a skilled carpenter is required
- Knowledge of carpentry and use of carpentry-related hand and power tools
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to work in confined areas, including crawl spaces
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify hazards in assigned work areas
- Ability to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others
- Ability to meet the mental and physical demands of the job
- Ability to work with people in a professional manner
- Maintains a valid and current driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening

The employee must regularly lift and/or move between 25-50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle material, talk and hear. TravelAvailability for travel in response to out-of-town projects and/or catastrophic events. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
