As a key member of our Pediatrics Team, you will specialize in delivering compassionate medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. Led by pediatricians and supported by nurses and specialists, we focus on preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease treatment. Family-centered care is at the forefront of our approach, ensuring each child's health and development through evidence-based practices and continuous education.
Job Responsibilities:
- Patient-Centered Care: Deliver patient-centered care by obtaining detailed patient histories that prioritize the unique developmental stages and health needs of children. Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor vital signs to evaluate and support pediatric health.
- Empower Patient Wellness: Champion pediatric patient success by providing compassionate guidance through examinations, treatments, and consultations designed to ensure child comfort and confidence.
- Facilitate Coordination and Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for pediatric patients and their families, facilitating clear communication to ensure continuity of care. Coordinate referrals to pediatric specialists, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments to streamline care pathways.
- Excellence in Clinical Practice: Conduct and interpret pediatric-specific diagnostic tests and screenings accurately to aid in timely diagnoses and treatments.
Key Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing equipped with the skills to thrive.
- Licensed/Registered in New York State as an LPN, showcasing dedication to professional standards.
- CPR Certification required, reflecting commitment to quality care.
- Strong communication skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
