Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Processing Manager to lead our clinical department and provide operational leadership to ensure effective and efficient delivery of ancillary services to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize 24/7 operations and resources to meet departmental and organizational goals.
  • Establish protocols and practices to ensure compliance with department, affiliate, and system standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and manage capital and operational budgets to achieve financial targets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external peers, leaders, and agencies to facilitate initiatives and resolve issues.
  • Provide guidance and direct intervention in resolving challenging or complex issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Certified Sterile Processing Management (CSPM), or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT).
  • 8 years of recent relevant experience in sterile processing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of operations, workflows, and business requirements.
  • Leadership skills, including team building, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Ability to motivate and engage others.
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and local standards and requirements.
  • Ability to develop and manage a budget.
  • Tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
