Division Chief Opportunity in Nephrology
The University of Vermont Health Network seeks an accomplished nephrologist to lead as Network Division Chief for Nephrology. This position combines clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to academic excellence.
The UVM Health Network Department of Medicine is the largest department, employing approximately 600 physicians and advanced practice practitioners across two states. The successful candidate will work closely with the Department Chair to advance division initiatives.
This role leads a vibrant division committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and research. As an employee of the UVM Larner College of Medicine and the UVM Health Network, the individual will receive an academic appointment and be encouraged to apply at the full professor level.
Located in Burlington, Vermont, this beautiful area offers a quintessential New England experience, combining history, industry, and business. With excellent schools, an accessible national airport, and nearby destinations like Montreal and Boston, it's an ideal place to work and raise a family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Nephrology Division as Network Division Chief
- Collaborate with the Department Chair to advance division initiatives
- Mentor faculty at all stages of career development
Requirements:
- MD degree (or equivalent)
- Board certified in Nephrology
- Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor (Tenure or Clinical Scholar Pathway)
