Licensed Practical Nurse, Float Pool Specialist

This position is housed in the Float Pool at Northside Hospital, offering the opportunity to care for a variety of patient populations in Acute Care units.
Key Responsibilities- Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- 1 or more years of experience as an LPN.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
- Previous experience in specialty area.
This position is part of the Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Excellence Track Program (L-NEXT) at Northside Hospital and offers opportunities for career advancement through expansion of knowledge, expertise through both academic/continuing education, and specialty certification.
