Site Superintendent

Overview:

H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee the construction of highways, pipelines, and other projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, effective communication skills, and experience in leading and building teams.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work is performed according to OSHA/MSHA and H&K Safety policies
• Plan and coordinate construction activities, including staffing and material procurement
• Direct and supervise supervisory personnel, subcontractors, and workers
• Confer with labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances
• Inspect work in progress to ensure quality and adherence to schedules

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 3 years of related experience and/or training
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience operating heavy equipment, especially milling machines and paving machines
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving and priority-setting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience
• OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
• Experience in heavy civil and highway construction
