Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Project Consultant to join our team at NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations, and indoor air quality investigations. Additionally, they will prepare and execute reports and other client correspondence, provide oversight, QA/QC, analysis, laboratory testing, and field services as required to meet our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Phase II Remediation Field Activities
  • Perform soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations and testing
  • Conduct indoor air quality investigations, including asbestos, mold, and lead-based paint
  • Remove underground storage tanks
  • Prepare and execute reports and other client correspondence
  • Provide oversight, QA/QC, analysis, laboratory testing, and field services as required to meet our clients' expectations
  • Manage projects and develop business opportunities
  • Cross-train with NOVA's other service lines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science
  • 2-6 years of Phase I & II experience required
  • NC Brownfields experience preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Experience with review of due diligence reports
