Executive Chef Assistant

Fisher Island Club is seeking a skilled Cook III to join our culinary team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality food service in all areas of the resort, including kitchens and support areas. They must possess strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a $55,000 - $65,000 per year salary, depending on experience, as well as a range of excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement savings plan, holiday pay, vacation time, paid time off (PTO), short-term disability, life insurance, AD&D, free parking, and free meals.
About Fisher Island Club:
A private membership-only club located on Fisher Island, Florida, offering luxurious amenities, including a beach club, championship golf course, tennis courts, marina, restaurants, spa, salon, fitness center, theater, aviary, and observatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and provide quality food service in all areas of the resort.
- Display strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff, stewarding staff, food and beverage service staff, purchasing department, storeroom, catering, and engineering teams.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
- 1 year of experience in the culinary field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management.
- Basic mathematical calculations skills.
- Pass a cooking demonstration for the chef.
