Job Summary:

The Construction Project Manager and Estimator will be responsible for managing construction projects from initiation to completion while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role involves estimating project costs, preparing detailed proposals, coordinating resources, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources. Ensure projects are completed within the scope, time, and cost constraints.
  • Estimating: Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects. Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements. Obtain and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients. Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing regular project updates.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Track project financials, including budgets, expenditures, and profitability. Generate and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
