Role Overview: Sales Representative
Leverage your expertise and insights to help us deliver top-tier products and services to our clientele. This position plays a crucial role within the aftermarket sales division. The Sales Representative will focus on driving aftermarket sales growth initiatives, achieving sales objectives, entering opportunities into the sales funnel, supporting the business development team, and reporting on key performance indicators related to sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet the sales targets outlined in the annual operating plan.
- Oversee and promote key inventory campaigns.
- Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities.
- Execute various sales functions, including responding to customer inquiries, managing order backlogs, preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring data accuracy in customer orders.
- Track customer order delivery timelines and communicate updates to relevant production support teams as necessary.
- Assist clients in understanding specific order and contract requirements, product features, availability, and lead times.
- Manage customer master data using Sales Force Dot Com (SFDC) and Visual Enterprise Resource Planning.
- Handle SFDC opportunity management.
- Report on sales funnel KPIs.
- Support the Business Development team in assembling complex proposals and sales presentations.
- Coordinate the delivery of marketing materials for trade shows and events.
- Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.
Expected Outcomes:
- Achieve $3M in trade sales.
- Demonstrate measurable sales growth with trade accounts.
- Enhance the integrity of sales funnel data.
- Improve response times for customer proposals.
Qualifications:
- Experience in business development, new product development, and contract compliance.
- Collaborate with enthusiastic teams that value diverse experiences and ideas, united by a passion for our products.
- Previous experience in the aviation sector.
- Proficiency in Visual ERP and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Aeronautical Accessories products and services.
- Familiarity with Bell Helicopter products and services.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Requirements for Success:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and trade shows as needed; travel may be up to 5%.
