CNC Operator

Volt is currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator for a manufacturing firm. Overtime opportunities are available.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Mazak brand machinery is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical Milling Machines, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared.
• Perform basic editing of G and M codes.
• Produce components that adhere to quality standards.
• Conduct inspections of products and manage non-conforming items through established procedures.
• Execute production tasks, including first piece inspections and machine operations.
• Meet established timelines and production schedules.
• Accurately document work using required paperwork and MRP systems.
• Communicate any issues to supervisory staff.
• Translate engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) into actionable processes.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with the company's stringent safety procedures for machine operations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of machinery in a production environment.
• Ability to accurately interpret complex blueprints.

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday
Compensation: Starting at $26 per hour
