Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at ELLWOOD National Forge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through nondestructive testing and inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasonic, visual, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing
  • Conduct hardness testing and metallographic testing
  • Inspect products using CMM-based methods
  • Prepare test reports for customer review
  • Maintain records of equipment calibration and testing material certification

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated work history record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate or associate's degree in nondestructive testing, metallurgical fields, or quality assurance
  • Prior relevant nondestructive testing experience and skills
  • Prior hardness testing experience using Brinell, Shore, Rockwell, Vickers, and Leeb-based equipment
