Squash Coach

At The Bay Club, we are seeking a highly skilled Squash Professional to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive squash program that meets the needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach private lessons and group clinics to adults and children of all skill levels
• Participate in squash leagues and tournaments to promote the sport and engage with members
• Assist with member events and promote club programs to increase participation and engagement
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
• Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience

Requirements:

• Minimum squash skills of 3.5
• Knowledge of or participation in US College Squash
• Experience providing private squash lessons and clinics for adults and children
• Ability to analyze needs and motivate adults and children
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and anticipate needs
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Confident coach and dependable team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and friendly manner
• Proficient in a PC/Windows environment

Working Conditions:

• Regular interaction with members and clients, including in-person, phone, and email communication
• Frequent changes in location and environment
• Occasional exposure to unpleasant or angry individuals, requiring problem-solving skills
