Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in the delivery of physical therapy services to our residents. Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the importance of the role and the value we place on attracting and retaining top talent in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day treatment to residents, including training in bed mobility, transfers, gait and stairs, ambulation on various surfaces, therapeutic exercises programs for ROM, strengthening, stretching, facilitation or inhibition, reeducation, balance and coordination programs, and various use of modalities.
  • Communicate effectively with other disciplines as needed to enhance interdisciplinary team rapport and improve patient care.
  • Participate in home visits when appropriate, family conferences when necessary, and community awareness and marketing activities when required.
  • Ensure timely documentation of resident progress and treatment plans in the medical record.
Requirements
  • CURRENT MA STATE LICENSE AS A PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT.
  • GRADUATE OF AN APTA APPROVED PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT PROGRAM.
  • COMPLIANCE WITH STATE, FEDERAL, AND APTA STANDARDS OF PRACTICE WHEN PLANNING AND CARRYING OUT TREATMENT PROGRAMS AND OTHER FUNCTIONS OF A PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT.
