Support and Development Assistant for Residential Programs

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Support and Development Assistant to join our team in residential programs. The successful candidate will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, promoting their skills development and fostering independence.
Responsibilities- Support and Assistance: Provide daily support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, focusing on skills training in activities of daily living.
- Skill Development: Create opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and foster independence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and Bridgewell policies.
- Medical and Clinical Needs: Provide support and assistance with medical, clinical, and financial needs.
- Transportation and Accompaniment: Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain required documentation according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
- Community Access: Assist individuals in accessing resources and recreational opportunities in the community.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; Associates or DSP Certification preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
- Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; valid driver's license and one year of driving experience.

- An estimated $60,000 - $70,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
