Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Director to join our team at Child Serve. As a Compliance Director, you will be responsible for leading our organizational compliance program, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

You will partner with various programs and departments to implement and administer our compliance program, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring continuous compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and processes to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  • Routinely assess and monitor the effectiveness of our compliance program, reporting on its status as needed.
  • Implement a monitoring and auditing system to ensure continuous compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with the training department to facilitate an effective compliance education and training program.
  • Develop and implement an effective policy management system, ensuring policies address appropriate risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead organizational compliance efforts in collaboration with leaders to ensure compliance within their respective areas of responsibility.
  • Serve as the organization's Privacy Officer, responding to staff inquiries, preparing educational materials, and investigating potential HIPAA concerns.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive process for reporting, assessing, and remediating compliance issues and reported concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
  • 5 years of compliance oversight experience required; compliance experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Healthcare Compliance Certification required or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
