We are seeking RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and MAs to join our growing team as we continue to be the best Pediatric Medical home model in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This is a full-time position requiring experience (3-5 years in a medical setting).
Responsibilities- Perform nursing procedures under supervision of physician or nurse practitioner.
- Assist physician and nurse practitioner in exam rooms.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient's chart.
- Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or nurse practitioner.
- Ensure all related reports, labs, and information is filed and available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment.
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required.
- Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls.
- Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants.
- Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e., refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.).
- All other duties as assigned by clinical coordinator or practice administrator.
- Excellent Inter-personal and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, and the public.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn and use an electronic medical records system and other computer applications.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits including profit sharing, health benefits, bonus structure, and PTO.
