About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Operations Center Administrator to join our team at Maxar Technologies. As a key member of our operations center, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the entire IT stack, including data center, network, storage, servers, and applications/services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Communicate with internal teams, including IT, problem management, customer service, and software development
  • Perform system administration duties, including initial troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with a current/active Secret security clearance
  • Active Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Ability to pass a CI Polygraph
  • Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of technical troubleshooting experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding of networking, firewalls, routing, and remote site connectivity
  • Experience with RedHat, LDAP, Satellite, Puppet, DNS, and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of data/IP networking and protocols (OSPF, BGP, GRE, TCP, FTP, FCIP, NFS)
  • Work experience with Python and AWS
