Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician III Position

About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Sysco.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Conduct annual Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) inspections on all company-owned equipment.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical systems.
- Mentor junior technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet maintenance goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
- Certifications in areas such as brake inspection, EPA section 608, and ASE certifications are beneficial.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
The salary for this position is approximately $38.00 per hour, based on experience.
