Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $43,000-$55,000 per year, based on the location and level of experience. This figure is subject to change and does not include additional benefits or bonuses that may be offered.
Job Description
As a Lead Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a group of Care Managers during each shift, ensuring that quality care and services are provided to our residents in accordance with their individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervisory support by taking attendance, managing call-offs/no shows, sending open shift messages, and responding to shift requests.
- Support team members as they provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services to residents, including bathing, grooming, personal and dental hygiene, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, hair care, escorting to and from meals and activities, and tidying residents' rooms.
- Assist with meal service in the dining room, coaching team members on hospitality standards during meal service.
- Accurately document care and services provided to residents, reviewing care manager documentation throughout the shift and identifying gaps in documentation to coach team members.
- Evaluate and improve compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies, monitoring team member break schedules and durations, and ensuring care managers clock in/out using correct job codes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred and may be required per state regulations.
- The ability to read, write, communicate effectively with Care Managers, Community Managers, residents, and family members.
- In states where applicable, the need to maintain applicable certifications.
- The ability to delegate assignments to appropriate individuals based on their skills, roles, and interests.
- Competent organizational and time management skills.
