Job Title: Business Development Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at Tecta America. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining new business relationships and sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize to analyze and identify territory opportunities.
  • Establish a base of contacts within Minnesota and surrounding states.
  • Conduct face-to-face visits and presentations with clients and prospects.
  • Direct the assembly of RFQ/RFP and presentations.
  • Track all customers, prospects, opportunities, and activity through the company's CRM program.
  • Establish continual contacts with new prospects and coordinate contacts between Project Managers, Service Managers, and proposed clients.
  • Actively seek negotiated opportunities in the private industry sector through relationship development directed at owners.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with current and future clients.
  • Identify, develop, and implement a plan for current and future opportunities.
  • Initiate client follow-up on current projects and new leads.
  • Develop and maintain strong community and industry involvement.
  • Continually establish and develop our industry's technical skills to enhance our business model.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business, Construction Management, or related degree.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods involved in showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Background in mechanical and/or roofing field preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly customer service oriented.
  • Strong proficiency using MS Office products.
  • Other critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, multi-tasking, follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner, priority setting, and having a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.
