Job Description

This leadership role oversees the Network Infrastructure team in an agile environment, focusing on developing high-performing teams and coaching members to support skills development and career advancement. The IT Associate Manager is responsible for planning and managing projects and budgets within assigned business areas to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage Agile methodology to optimize operational efficiency and guide the team toward continuous improvement in IT service management governance.
  • Define policies and procedures to prioritize projects, manage activities, monitor and respond to network events, coordinate outage resolutions, improve network performance, and ensure network availability across all network platforms.
  • Lead response to network issues by troubleshooting and coordinating with the team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Talent development: active coaching to support team members' technical and functional skills and career growth.
  • Oversee continuous monitoring of network platforms to swiftly identify and address issues.
  • Develop resourcing strategies, allocate budget, staff (on-site, offshore, & vendor), tools, and specialized support necessary for cost-effective implementation and successful customer rollout.
  • Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that supports business objectives.
  • Ensure delivery of business value, including strategy for support and participation in on-call rotation.
  • Manage relationships with business partners and external vendors to ensure optimal performance and drive resolution of issues.
  • Assess project viability and recommend strategies and tactics to satisfy customer needs. Manage the execution and delivery of projects.
  • Provide direction to project teams and integrate activities with other IT functions to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
  • Facilitate removal of agile train blockers and impediments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in a networking role.
  • Demonstrating leadership skills and possessing a track record of managing technical staff (cross-functional experience highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with managing budgets and understanding the impact of financial decisions on profit and loss.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking and network platforms, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5, Fortinet, and DDI.
  • Experience in the retail industry or production/service environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop teams.
  • Demonstrated strong abilities in relationship management.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of software project management methodologies and frameworks with a deep understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multidiscipline, high-performance work teams and development groups.
  • Demonstrated competency in executing multiple projects, including managing resources across multiple projects to meet goals.
  • Developed efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
