About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences and optimize the routine maintenance of Canon-supported products. As a representative of Canon Solutions America, you'll embody our commitment to service excellence and drive efficiency in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with accurate documentation to ensure seamless record-keeping and information exchange.
  • Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, or on-site maintenance services.
  • Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and assigned Canon property to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills to foster long-term relationships and loyalty.
  • Optimize the performance of assigned machines to enhance overall productivity and efficiency.
  • Foster collaboration to achieve branch/district metric targets and contribute to the company's success.
About You

To excel in this role, you'll need a solid foundation in basic computer skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Your ability to navigate internet environments and successfully complete training programs is essential for success.

Please note that this is a customer-facing position, requiring compliance with customer policies and protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination measures.

Requirements:
  • Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete introductory period and PDIF new-hire class.
  • Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
  • Required to take necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances to enter customers' premises.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.
