The Stars Behavioral Health Group is a dynamic organization dedicated to revolutionizing mental healthcare. We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Security Guard to join our team in Lancaster, CA.

As a Mental Health Security Guard at the High Desert - Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for clients, visitors, staff, and physicians. This includes screening incoming clients for contraband, inventories all client property, and monitoring surveillance equipment. You will also control access to the center, answer/direct incoming clients, conduct physical security checks of the center grounds, and respond to fires and/or emergencies at the center.

This role requires a high level of customer service and attention to detail. You must be able to model appropriate behaviors for clients, monitor daily client activities, and maintain vigilance over the general milieu within the facility. If you have experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children and/or adults in an inpatient or outpatient setting, hospital setting, or setting where safety and security were the primary focus, we encourage you to apply.

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.18 - 24.79 USD per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
