Vehicular Systems Engineer

About the Role:
- You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters.
- Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to customer complaints, conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, electrical systems malfunctions, and body damage.
- Verify vehicle serviceability through test drives and adjusting controls and systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs in our system.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to operating and safety instructions.
- Stay up-to-date with job and product knowledge as required by the manufacturer.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and provide updates on customer repairs as needed.

Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record at all times.
- Submission to background and drug screens.
Working Environment & Physical Demands:
This role requires regular movement around the dealership premises and outdoor car lot. While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently stands, walks, and sits. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
