Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager Lead to join our IT team at Loggerhead. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to drive projects from concept to completion.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans. A Day in the Life may include:

  • Developing and implementing project management tools and templates to improve the project life cycle
  • Analyzing development, testing, and release processes to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Organizing and leading project meetings to facilitate goal setting and review, progress and status reporting, communication, resolving blockers, and general project planning
  • Setting goals with project team members and gaining commitment to milestones and deliverables based on time estimates
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand project needs and goals, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assessing project risks and issues, providing solutions to keep projects on course and aligned with objectives
  • Conducting post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful elements, using insights to improve future projects
  • Ensuring business objectives and key success metrics are being met
  • Gathering project metrics to create predictable, reliable, and repeatable development and release practices
  • Partnering with compliance to coordinate and integrate project activities and division-requested enhancements according to corporate and regulatory standards
  • Identifying requirements for web-based and back-office system projects maintained internally or by external vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and track project schedules and delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Experience successfully communicating across various audiences
  • Able to perform both independently and motivating a project team
  • Familiarity using Agile, Hybrid, and Predictive project methodologies
  • Experience with web applications and customizable and configurable applications
  • Basic understanding of programming languages and concepts

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in project management and execution experience delivering complex work efforts working with Waterfall and Agile methodologies Stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Advance understanding of risk management policies and procedures
  • Proven experience as a project manager, IT project manager, or ERP project manager
  • Comprehensive knowledge of program management methodology and techniques; program performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Extensive experience developing, maintaining, and reporting on large cost project/program budgets
  • Strong business acumen and/or demonstrated learning agility to quickly increase business expertise
  • You have a passion for problem-solving, experience with technical software products, and compliance
  • P&C Insurance industry experience
  • Ten years of experience in project and/or program management or related experience
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or PMI-ACP (Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner) designations preferred
  • Insurance designations preferred

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree preferably in business, management, computer science, or insurance or equivalent relevant experience
