Customer Assistance Program Director

The City of Austin is seeking a highly skilled Customer Assistance Program Director to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for directing the customer assistance program, ensuring that customers receive high-quality service and support.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in business administration and management to lead our customer assistance program. Your primary responsibility will be to develop project scopes and plans, create business case justifications for resource and budget planning, and coordinate efforts to standardize program processes and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain departmental budgets, creating all necessary documents for executive presentation.
- Manage the purchasing and procurement process, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency to meet departmental business goals.
- Recommend solutions to critical business issues and present alternatives.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. A minimum of four years of administrative/management experience is also required. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
