Job Summary:

This part-time position offers flexibility and balance, with the opportunity to work night shifts on a regular basis. As an Aveanna Private Duty Nurse - RN, you'll provide high-quality patient care, administering medication, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians. You'll also educate patients and their families on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Patient assessments and coordination of care
  • Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Compliant, timely documentation of care provided
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
Requirements:
  • Must have an active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Must have reliable transportation
