Job Overview

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our district sales team in achieving revenue growth and market penetration objectives.

About the Role

This key leadership position requires an individual who can develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive business results, manage and motivate a team of sales professionals, and foster strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth
  • Lead, manage, and coach a team of sales professionals to ensure they meet their sales targets and adhere to company policies
  • Foster strong relationships with customers through regular communication, issue resolution, and strategic account planning
  • Identify new business opportunities, build and maintain customer relationships, and negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and productivity

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of experience in foodservice sales, with at least two years of supervisory experience
  • Proven track record of sales success, with a strong understanding of sales processes, principles, and strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions
